Police arrests 4 lady heroin suppliers

SAMBA, July 8: Samba Police has claimed to have achieved a major success by arresting four female heroin suppliers including most wanted female heroin supplier Saleema of Balole, Bari Brahmana.
The arrested lady heroin suppliers have been identified as Saleema Bibi alias Bachi wife of Murad Ali of Balole Nallah, Bari Brahmana district Samba, Gunna Bibi wife of Kaga Gujjar of Sidhra district Jammu, Fullan Bibi wife of Teg Ali of Chak Baggian Vijaypur, district Samba and Salima Bibi wife of Mansha of Rakh Barotian, Vijaypur, district Samba.
Police said that on a specific tip off that the most wanted heroin suppliers were traveling from Kathua to Samba by a vehicle, a joint police party of district Anti NDPS team and Police Post, Supwal headed by in charge PP Supwal, PSI Deepika Jalotra laid a naka near NHW Supwal, and intercepted four suspected ladies including most wanted heroin supplier “Bachi” of Balole and three other female smugglers two of whom also involved in attack on police near Rakh Barotian Vijaypur. They were handed over to the police parties of concerned Police Stations.
Police said Bachi of Balole was most wanted on account of her continuous involvement in heroin smuggling and supplying to the youth of Samba, Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch, Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar. Police claimed that arrest of Bachi is a major success on its part as she had been evading arrest for long and had been giving slip to police every time during special nakas and raids organized to nab her. Bachi had changed her hideout from Balole Nallah to Sidhra Jammu due to geared up raids and intensified patrolling by Samba police around Balole Nallah and used to visit Samba to supply heroin to youth in the guise of some other innocent lady introducing herself by different names.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba Benam Tosh said that a total of 58 heroin suppliers including 12 female narco-suppliers have been arrested by Samba Police in six months and all other heroin smugglers against whom FIRs have been registered would be arrested at the earliest.
Two hardcore heroin suppliers have also been detained and lodged in jail under stringent PIT NDPS Act.
