Vibodh highlights achievements of Modi Government

RAJOURI, July 9: BJP J&K general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta today highlighted the achievements of nine years of the Modi Government and said that Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed “all-round development and inclusive growth” under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Addressing a religious gathering in Rajouri, Vibodh cited the Jammu and Kashmir government’s decision to provide a 10-kg additional ration per month at subsidised rates for priority households in the Union Territory, which will benefit over 57 lakh people. He strongly asserted that the welfare of the poor is the top priority of LG, Manoj Sinha.
Vibodh commended the LG administration for its efforts in implementing digital advancements across various Government offices in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). He praised the administration for making over 400 Government services available online through the J&K Public Services Guarantee Act.
Speaking about tourism, Vibodh highlighted the successful Government initiatives that are yielding positive results in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). There has been a significant increase in the number of tourists visiting the region. Last year, approximately two crore tourists visited J&K, and this number is expected to continue growing, he added.
Vibodh also mentioned that J&K is now hosting international summits, including the G20 meeting in Srinagar, as well as national summits such as the National Tribal Festival. The National Tribal Festival witnessed participation from 15 States/Union Territories, celebrating the rich cultural diversity of the UT.
He maintained that the Modi Government is making every effort to empower and uplift Tribals in J&K.
