Bharat Vikas Parishad holds multi-specialty medical camp

JAMMU, July 9: Bharat Vikas Parishad, Shivalik Branch, Channi Himmat (Jammu) organized two-day free multi-specialty medical camp in collaboration with Hexamed Diagnostics and Specialty Clinics, Bypass Road (Channi Rama, Jammu).
Prof RD Sharma (former vice chancellor of Jammu University) was the chief guest on the occasion. He inaugurated the medical camp along with officials of Bharat Vikas Parishad Shivalik Branch and staff of Hexamed on July 8.
The doctors from all specialties who attended more than 70 patients on both days are Dr Luthra, Dr Vijay Kundal, Dr Kulbhushan, Dr Ajaz ul Haq, Dr Gaurav Vaid and Dr Parmila. The consultation and tests were free on both days for the general public.
On the occasion, the staff of Hexamed honoured the chief guest and BB Sharma (Prant president of Bharat Vikas Parishad) as well as HC Vaid (president, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Shivalik Branch).
Speaking on the occasion, HC Vaid explained the purpose of organizing the medical camp which comes under ‘Sewa Bhav’ programme.
Other dignitaries present in the camp were Dev Raj Sharma (president, North Region -1), Trishula Gupta (chief organizer), Rakesh Sharma (treasurer), Dr Vijay Sharma (media parmukh), Shiv Ram Sharma (general secretary, Prant), Arun Sharma (joint secretary, northern region), Sunita Mahajan (finance secretary, Prant), Ashok Gupta (Prant vice president) and Anju Bansal.
