NEW DELHI, Dec 14: Choudhary Chand Ram, former Union Minister and an associate of Dr B R Ambedkar was conferred with annual Babu Parmanand National Award 2013 at 29th All India Dalit Writer’s Conference, here at Burani.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Dr S P Sumanakashar International president BDSA and Sudesh Kumari, President, BDSA, J&K in presence of Dr Mata Prasad former Governor Arunachal Pradesh, P L Punia, Chairman SC and ST commission GoI, and others.
The conference was attended by over 5000 delegates from all over Indian states and UTs. Delegates from USA, Nepal and some other countries also attended.
