RAJOURI, July 10: A minor boy slipped from a hill, fell into a gorge and died on the spot in Thannamandi area of district Rajouri today.
The deceased was identified as Musharaf Mustafa (16), son of Ghulam Mustafa, a resident of Alal in Thannamandi. He had gone to higher ridges (Dhoks ) of Thannamandi tehsil and while he was grazing cattle near his dhok at Khthwali Dhar he suddenly slipped and fell into about 300 feet deep gorge and died.
On receiving information police party from Thannamandi led by SHO Azhar rushed to the spot and with the help of locals after hectic efforts dead body was retrieved from gorge and shifted to Thannamandi hospital where all the legal formalities were performed. After completing medico legal formalities dead body was handed over to family for performing last rites.
