REASI, July 12: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Provincial President Democratic Progressive Azad Party and former minister, today presided over a DPAP meeting at Tehsil Bhomag of Vaishnodevi- Katra Assembly constituency.
In the meeting, the local people highlighted their grievances and issues. They apprised him of the poor road connectivity in the area and said that the road work from Sujandhar to Sari Gabber has not been started. Work on the roads in the area remains stalled ever since Jugal Kishore left office as MLA and no work has been done for the past 11 years, they explained.
Lamenting that Tehsil and Block office of Bhomag are functioning from Reasi, people demanded the same at Bhomag as soon as possible. They further alleged that PHE Pagan water supply scheme is lying stalled for the past 15 years and the water tanks are also getting damaged because of the negligence of the PHE department. Primary Health Center Tote does not have staff for functioning while the whole block does not have any RDD technical staff in the area, they added.
The meeting was attended by Sahil Singh, District Vice-President DPAP and others.
