It is quite heartening that Jammu has entered the elite club of cities where heart surgeries can be successfully performed.
On 9th of this month the first of its type, a heart surgery was performed at Super Speciality Hospital , Jammu whereby a cardiac tumour was removed from the heart and the patient is reported to be doing well. While the State Health Minister has congratulated the team of Doctors who achieved this feat , at the same time proper facilities including the posting of qualified Doctors in the Hospitals, especially at the SSH can go a long way in bettering the available medical facilities in the state run Hospitals. Medical facilities need to be constantly improved .
