JAMMU, Dec 15: JKDF Sewa Dal today organized a free eye check up camp at Poonch House Talab Tillo, Jammu falling in the vicinity of Ward No. 40 and Ward No. 41. Nearly about 700 people took the benefit of free eye care camp and got the free spectacles.
Earlier in the morning hundreds of people and JKDF Sewa Dal activists from different zones of Jammu city including the senior leaders of party gathered inside the venue of camp. JKDF State president Anil Gupta inaugurated the eye care camp in presence of Neelam Devi (Ward President) and Bhanu Pratap Singh (both organizers of the camp).
JKDF State president, Anil Gupta distributed the 700 spectacles among the beneficiaries who have earlier applied for the same by filling up a form. Eye tests were carried out by renowned and qualified Eye Specialists.
While appreciating the efforts of JKDF Sewa Dal Anil Gupta said, ” I welcome the goodwill gesture the Dal which has taken the noble mission of serving the helpless and destitutes. This is our second consecutive camp in few months, he added.
