SAMBA, July 15: Samba police and a social organization named Samba Social Club got the dead body of an unknown person cremated at the cremation ground here, today. The president of Samba Social Club, Sunil Gupta said that one person was found suffering from serious illness near the Main Chowk of Samba and he died the next day, after which the dead body was kept in Government Medical College & Hospital Jammu for post mortem and identification.
But after four days when no one claimed the body, it was brought to Samba where it was cremated today. He said that his organization has been doing social work for the last many years, and it has cremated the dead bodies of unknown persons many times before.
