4 killed in road accidents

JAMMU, July 15: At least four persons died in separate road accidents in Jammu, police said.
They said one Puro Devi (65) wife of late Ram Lal of Muthi was injured when a motorcycle she was riding on was hit by a truck at Canal Road Jammu.
In another accident, police said, one Gurcharan Singh (46) son of Trilok Singh of Sant Market, Jewel Chowk Jammu, was injured when the scooty he was riding on was hit by a truck at Transport Nagar.
An e-rickshaw rolled down at Fourth Bridge Tawi, Jammu, resulting in injuries to one Aman (24) son of Vishal of Chatha, they said.
A woman identified as Pupinder Kour (29) wife of Jagjeet Singh of Ward Number 1, Bhour Pind, Chatha, was injured near Karan Bagh Chowk after the motorcycle she was riding on was hit by a truck, they said.
All the injured were taken to Government Medical College Jammu separately where they were declared as dead on arrival, said police.
Police have registered cases under relevant sections of the law at concerned police stations and taken up further investigations.
