JAMMU, Dec 16: President, Jammu State Morcha (JSM), Prof Virender Gupta along with his office bearers called on refugees of Pak occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK) at Bakshi Nagar here today and discussed their problems related to the grant of compensation in lieu of their forced migration in 1947, with them.
After deliberations on the subject and listening to their point of views Prof Virender Gupta expressed anguish over the matter.
He said, “Both State and Central Governments are once again trying to play the card of settlement of all the claims of the PoJK displaced persons as the parliamentary elections and State elections are approaching”.
“Both the Governments again raised the hopes of PoJK refugees by giving the promise of settling their issues once for all”, he said adding, JSM hopes that this time Governments do not intend to deceive them and their demands would be settled before the Parliamentary elections.
