SRINAGAR, Dec 16: Assistant Professor, Dr Aijaz Nabi Koul, Department of Internal Medicine SKIMS has been selected by Academic Council of Royal College for the award of fellowship.
Dr A Deepak Dwarkanath, Secretary, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh intimated the same through official communication.
Dr Aijaz has been invited to annual RCP convocation to receive the citation on June 27, 2014 at Edinburgh.
The fellowship is conferred on those members of Royal College of UK who have demonstrated exemplary academic record in Medical Sciences.
Dr Aijaz has graduated from GMC Srinagar and completed his MD Medicine from SKIMS in 1998.
Later he did fellowship in critical care neurology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in 2001 and passed academic MRCP (UK) in 2004. He also holds membership of Royal College of Physicians of London, European Society of Infectious Diseases, Infectious Disease Society of India, Indian Society of Critical Care and Associated Physicians of India.
Besides, he has many publications in national and international journals to his credit.
