JAMMU, July 19: Another mile stone has been achieved by Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital, Ambphalla (Jammu) by establishing Pediatric Ventilator in the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit, thus making it NICU Level-3.
The inauguration of the NICU Level-3 unit was done by Dr Subhash Gupta (chief patron of the Mission) in presence of Anil Gupta (president), Amar Chand Gupta (senior vice president), BB Gupta (general secretary), BS Jamwal (secretary), Subhash Gupta (associate general secretary), Romesh Chander Gupta (member), DV Chopra (member), Mohan Singh Chouhan (member), besides Dr Romesh Gupta (Administrator) and Consultants.
Dr Deepak Sharma, Neonatologist In-charge NICU, highlighted the functioning of the Pediatric Ventilator.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Gupta said that Pediatric Ventilator will help infants in their speedy recovery on affordable rates suited to the common man. He also stated that henceforth the infants will not be required to be referred to SMGS Hospital or any other private health institution. This facility shall overcome this shortcoming, he added.
The RMOs and Paramedical staff of the Hospital were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
