JAMMU, July 19: The HexaMed Diagnostics and Specialty Clinic, in collaboration with Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sanathan Trust, conducted a health medical camp to provide quality and affordable healthcare facilities to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The event was attended by former Health Minister Sham Lal Sharma as the Chief Guest, Shakti Pathak, DIG Jammu Samba and Kathua Range, as the Special Guest, and other notable guests.
The camp offered various types of checkup facilities free-of-cost to approximately 120 individuals.
Speaking at the event, Sham Lal Sharma commended the efforts of the organizers in promoting health awareness and providing quality healthcare facilities.
He acknowledged the positive changes in the investment ecosystem of Jammu and Kashmir after the removal of Article 370 and the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sharma noted that new entrepreneurs are establishing their businesses in the region, contributing to industrial and business growth, and creating employment opportunities for the youth.
He appreciated the initiatives of Nigam Gupta, trustee of Mahant Rohit Shastri Trust, in the healthcare sector. He highlighted the potential for private investors, both domestic and international, to invest in Jammu and Kashmir due to the new industrial development policy.
Sharma assured that he would discuss strengthening the single-window system for availing facilities with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to further progress in the healthcare segment.
DIG Jammu-Samba & Kathua Range Shakti Pathak emphasized the importance of prioritizing personal health and encouraged the trust to organize similar camps regularly. He congratulated HexaMed Diagnostics and Specialty Clinic and Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Institute Trust for their contributions to healthcare.
Vikas Gupta, GM Operations at HexaMed, informed the press that the medical camp offered free or discounted treatment for various diseases along with proper advice for further treatment of serious conditions.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Chief Engineer (Retd) JK Sharma, Pramod Sharma, Arun Mankhotra, Pradeep Sharma, Naresh Raina, Uttam Chand Sharma, and Vitesh Shastri.
