BHADERWAH, July 19: A meeting of office bearers and workers of Democratic Progressive Azad Party was held in Dak Bungalow Bhaderwah.
G M Saroori, Vice Chairman DPAP, presided over the meeting, which was attended by Jugal Kishore Sharma, DPAP Jammu Province President, P R Manhas, Zonal President Chenab Zone and many other senior leaders of the party.
The main agenda of the meeting was strengthening the party from grassroots and to discuss arrangements for coming visit of Ghulam Nabi Azad to Bhaderwah in August.
P R Manhas welcomed the senior leaders and party workers while G M Saroori laid the agenda for discussion.
It was decided that touring by all office bearers of Block, Dist and Zonal level shall be intensified and membership drive to be completed on priority. Moreover people will be made aware about four- day program of Mr Azad to various Panchayat headquarters of all three blocks i.e Bhaderwah, Bhalla and Chiralla.
Jugal Kishore Sharma delivered the concluding address and highlighted the developmental works done during the Chief Ministership of Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Other senior leaders, who attended the meeting, included Ramesh Parihar, Zonal Vice president; Zafarulla Sheikh, Zonal Gen Secy; Khurshid Ahmad But, Zonal Org Secy; Asif Gattu, Dist Doda President; Krishan Manhas, Zonal Secy; Arif Najar, Block President Bhaderwah and organizer of the meeting; Mohd Shafi Rishu, Block President Bhalla and Gandharb Singh, Block President Chiralla.
