Srinagar, July 19: To ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of Muharram processions in Baramulla and to assess the overall facilities provided to the people, SSP Baramulla, Amod Ashok Nagapure, reviewed the preparedness today.
He was accompanied by SDM Pattan, Faheem Bihauqi, and SDPO Pattan, Mohammad Nawaz, during their visit to various Imambaras where Muharram processions are expected to take place.
During the visits, SSP Baramulla also engaged with prominent citizens and Intizamiya committees to ensure the hassle-free conduct of Majlis and processions.
Special attention was given to crowd management, ensuring the smooth flow of processions, and maintaining public order throughout the period.
In response to the suggestions and issues raised by the community representatives, the visiting officers assured them that all genuine demands would be addressed as a priority.
