JAMMU, Dec 17: Non-Gazetted Handicrafts Employees Association (NGHEA) delegation led by its president Subash Chander Sharma met Director Handicrafts Salma Hamid and discussed the problems being faced by the employees of the Handicraft Department.
While speaking, Sharma demanded release of four months pending salary to the employees appointed under New Pension Scheme, TA/DA provision for employees deputed for exhibition/PRI meetings, framing of comprehensive policy for providing accommodation rent at Rs 3000 per month for urban and Rs 2,000 for rural to the land lord for establishment of training centre till final rent assessment will be made by the authority, etc.
Director gave patient hearing to the demands and assured to settle the same at the earliest.
