Decision aimed at overcoming staff shortage

JAMMU, July 22: In order to overcome the shortage of Tehsildars in the Union Territory, the Revenue Department has ordered transfer and posting of 32 Tehsildars. Among the transferred officers are 24 JKAS officers.
Through the decision, the Revenue Department has in particular addressed the shortage of the Tehsildars in those Tehsils where the posts of the revenue officers were lying vacant for long.
The GAD has placed services of 24 JKAS officers at the disposal at Revenue Department. The Revenue Department today adjusted them in most of vacant tehsils. This will help overcome shortage of officers.
An order to this effect was issued today by Secretary to Government Dr Piyush Singla.
As per a Government order issued in this context, Nissar Ahmed Wani, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Qaimoh, Kulgam, against vacant post, Jhangeer Akhone, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Khanshab, Budgam, against a vacant post, Zeeshan Khan, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Wagoora, Baramulla, against a vacant post, Rashi Dutta, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar JDA, Jammu, against a vacant post, Mega Gupta, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Chenani vice Ved Parkash, Shreya Sharma, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Hiranagar, Kathua, against an a vacant post, Afsha Afreen, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Doda vice Shabir Ahmed Malik, who shall await orders of adjustment in the Revenue Department, Aana Jamwal, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar HQA Kathua against a vacant post, Jaazia Kazmi, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Manjakote, Rajouri vice Javid Iqbal, Ratandeep Sharma, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar JMRDA against a vacant post, and Saqib Rashid Dar, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Aripal, Pulwama against a vacant post.
The order further said that Predhyum Atri, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been placed at the disposal of DC Kathua for further posting, Mahrukh Fatima, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Beri Pattan Rajouri, against a vacancy, Arushi Sabharwal, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar HQA Udhampur, against a vacancy, Umar Jahanzeb, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Bhaderwah against a vacancy, Pushpak Saroop, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Nazool Jammu, against a vacancy, Abhimanyu Kalsotra, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Ramgarh, Samba vice Farooq Hussain, Sagar Vishav, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been placed at the disposal of DC Kathua for further posting, Mehak Mahajan, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Bhomag vice Suresh Kumar, and Athira, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar HQA Jammu.
It further said that Tejinder Sharma, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar Bunjwan, Kishtwar, against a vacancy, Harveer Singh, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been posted as Tehsildar HQA Ramban, against a vacancy, Atif Arbab Khateeb, awaiting orders of posting in Revenue Department, has been placed at the disposal of Deputy Commissioner Budgam for further posting, Suresh Kumar, Tehsildar Bhomag, has been posted as Tehsildar Reasi against vacant post. He shall hold the charge of HQA Reasi in addition to his duties, Ved Parkash, Tehsildar Chenani, has been posted as Tehsildar in the office of RDSLR Udhampur, Dr Haroon Rashid, Tehsildar Beerwah, has been posted as Tehsildar Kangan, Ganderabal, against a vacant post, Farooq Hussain, Tehsildar Ramgarh, has been posted as Tehsildar Consolidation Jammu, against a vacancy, Javid Iqbal, Tehsildar Manjakote, has been posted as Tehsildar Mahore vice Shahid Iqbal, Shahid Iqbal, Tehsildar Mahore, has been posted at HQA Rajouri, against a vacancy, Aman Kumar Anand, Tehsildar Basohli, has been posted as Tehsildar Jammu North vice Jai Singh, Jai Singh, Tehsildar Jammu North, has been posted as Tehsildar Udhampur vice Amit Kumar Verma, and Amit Kumar Verma, Tehsildar Udhampur, has been posted as Tehsildar Relief Jammu.
