POONCH, July 23: Landslide triggered by heavy rainfall at Barachar area of Tehsil Mandi in Poonch district blocked Mandi-Loran road for traffic movement today.
Official sources said that landslide occurred at the same place where it had hit in the recent past, due to which traffic movement remained suspended for more than two hours.
A PMGSY official said that soon after the information of land slide was received, men and machinery were put on the job and debris were cleared within two hours.
Station House Officer Loran, Rajesh Thapa said that more than 50 vehicles were stranded there and after road clearance the vehicular movement was resumed on the road.
