Deputation meets JMC Commissioner

JAMMU, July 24: A deputation led by Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Pritam Singh of Ward Number 55 and comprising of Executives of Jammu Co-Operative House Building Society Ltd met JMC Commissioner, Rahul Yadav and Joint Commissioner, Rimpi Ohri.
The deputation raised issues of Apna Vihar Colony where a Nallah beneath Shiv temple is damaging the whole structure of the temple.
The Commissioner marked the request to the concerned Joint Commissioner Works for necessary execution of works on priority basis in view of urgency of the work.
He said that due to rainy season and the fast flow of Nallah may result in more damage to the temple which if damaged would affect the religious sentiments of people of the area apart from inflicting financial losses as the temple was constructed by the active donations by devotees.
The deputation members appealed JMC authorities to prioritize the works so that damage to the temple can be avoided.
