JAMMU, July 24: Rotary Club Jammu Helping Hands donated a Water Cooler to Suchetgarh Octroi post of BSF.
Speaking on the occasion Karuna Gupta, president of the Club informed that the weather in Jammu during summers remains very hot with temperatures rising up to 45 degree and a source of clean cold water may be of great relief for the large number of tourists visiting Suchetgarh.
Jaswinder Singh Kuku said: “In a world where even water is being sold packed in bottles, we are trying to bring the much needed relief to the people by installing water coolers.”
Rotary International District 3070 IPDG, Dr. Dushyant Chaudhary was chief guest and Chairman Religious Tourism and Heritage Cultural Trust, Mahant Rajesh Bittu was guest of honour.
A large number of Rotarians were present on the occasion including Dr. Rohit Gupta, Sunny Gupta, Jatinder Mengi, Rohit Vashisht, Jasmeet Kaur, Jatinder Pal Singh, Daljeet Singh, Asmie Gupta, Swastie Gupta, Katyani, Ragini Mengi and Akul Mengi.
