SRINAGAR, July 25: General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps, Lt General Rajiv Ghai, AVSM, SM, today called on Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh, to discuss the prevailing security scenario in Kashmir Valley.
A statement said that ADGP Headquarters/Coordination MK Sinha, was also present in the meeting.
During their discussion, strengthening and augmenting of security measures in order to counter the new tactics of terrorists including infiltration, pushing of drugs and arms being adopted by Pakistan, were discussed, read the statement.
The DGP lauded the synergy between different forces in foiling the ill intentions of Pakistan and terrorists sent by it.
Meanwhile, he emphasized on sharing of intelligence between the forces on a regular basis and also stressed on conducting joint operations to comb out the remnant of hidden terrorists.
