RAMBAN, July 25: Cops from Police Station Dharamkund while on patrolling duty in Kanga Sharore got information through reliable sources that one Bodh Raj, son of Kanshi Ram, resident of Sharore Kanga here was preparing Desi liquor for selling illegally.
Cops went to the spot seized a 5 litre bottle of country made liquor from the possession of accused along with some accessories used for manufacturing illicit liquor.
In this regard a case in FIR number 29/2023 U/S 48 (a) (e) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Dharamkund and investigation started.
The recovery was carried out by a police team led by Inspector Manoj Sharma, SHO Dharamkund under the supervision of Nihar Ranjan, SDPO Gool and under the overall supervision of SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
