Councillor starts lane-drain work

JAMMU, July 25: JMC Councillor, Neena Gupta of Ward number 50 started lane and drain work in Sector 2 of Chhani Himmat today.
The work will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs. 24 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion the Councillor said that work of up-gradation of lanes and drains in 3, 4, 7 and other sectors will be undertaken soon.
She requested the authorities concerned to complete the work maintaining the quality. “The lane-drain work was a long pending demand of the area and when completed it will enhance beauty of the Ward. Apart from this some tile work will also be undertaken soon,” Neena Gupta maintained adding: “The water supply in the area will improve a lot very soon as two tube wells are ready for supply to the Ward while work on one more is underway.”
She asked the people of her Ward to avoid single use plastic.
