SRINAGAR, July 26: Police in Baramulla today recovered an abducted minor girl by arresting the accused person involved in the commission of the crime.
On July 24, 2023, Police Post Palhallan received a written complaint from one person stating therein that his minor daughter has been missing from home since 23-07-2023, police said.
During the investigation, police said, with the help of technical evidence, it came to fore that the missing girl has been abducted by one person identified as Nazim Ahmad Kumar son of Abdul Razak resident of Mulgam Kunzer.
“Consequently, the police team swung into action and proceeded towards Kunzer where the accused was arrested and the abducted girl was recovered,” police said.
After completing all medico-legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her legal heirs. Further investigation into the matter is going on.
