NEW DELHI, Dec 19: The international crude oil price of Indian basket went up marginally to 107.42 dollars/per barrel on December 18, an official statement said today.
This was higher than the price of 107.35 dollars/bbl which prevailed on the previous trading day of December 17, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price remained almost stagnant at Rs 6,651.45 per bbl on December 18 as compared to Rs 6,651.41/bbl on December 17, it said.
This was due to marginal rupee appreciation almost off-setting the impact of increase in price in dollar terms.
Rupee-dollar exchange rate informed on December 18 to Rs 61.92/dollar against Rs 61.96/dollar on previous trading day of December 17, it added. (AGENCIES)
