JAMMU, Dec 19: Reiterating its demand of trifurcation of State, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today said that its demand for trifurcation of State is purely regional based.
“As, there is always hue and cry of disparity and discrimination in all spheres and it is gathered from previous record that 70% of funds received from the Centre are allocated to Kashmir and only 30% to Jammu and Ladakh regions, so to stop this discrimination, BSP demands separate Statehood for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions”, said BSP State president, Tulsi Dass Langeh while addressing the meetings at Jandyal, Sarote, Padmi and Lower Ranjan areas of Nagrota Constituency.
The BSP leader maintained that with the trifurcation of State a lot of employment avenues could be created to mitigate the unemployment problem but PDP, NC and Congress’ Kashmiri leadership are exploiting the move by connecting it to religion, he lamented.
