JAMMU, Dec 19: Panun Kashmir (PK) has expressed serious concern over the non availability of the ration and cash relief to the camp dwellers of the Jagti.
In a meeting of its Jagti unit today it expressed grave concern over the state of intimidation and harassment being meted out to the Kashmiri Pandit refugees who were shifted from various camps in Jammu to this concentration area.
The meeting was addressed by the co-coordinators of the Jagti Unit of Panun Kashmir, Sanjay Raina and Chand Ji Pandita.
Expressing shock over the step motherly treatment meted out to the community members, Sanjay Raina said, ‘’the camp dwellers are being subjected to enormous difficulties and hardships by the administration as the ration is not available on the regular basis and this has affected the health of the inmates and led to health hazards in terms of various ailments’’, he added.
He said to add to the woes of the inmates the cash relief to the dependents is not released in time and its has led to penury and financial crisis of the people. Education of the children has been the worst affected area. It is a direct attack on the dignity of the community and the violation of the human rights under the international covenants of justice, he added.
Lambasting the State Government and the relief authorities, Chand Ji Pandit said, it is indulged in state sponsored genocide of the community as it seems that it has directed the relief authorities to choke the supply of relief and cash assistance to the Kashmiri Hindu refugees so that they are forced to toe the line of the Government which suits them to bail out the persecutors of the community who have imposed holocaust to the community in 1990.
Reiterating the demand for the separate Homeland in Kashmir with the UT status and free flow of the Indian Constitution, they  said,” only the creation of the separate Homeland in Kashmir is the solution for the reversal of the displacement and genocide of KPs.
