SRINAGAR, Dec 19: A woman was killed while a man was injured in different accidents in South Kashmir today.
A police spokesman said a Sumo JK18-3864 hit and injured a woman, Ifat Begum wife of Abdul Rashid Deeda of Panjgam Naad at Panjgam Naad in Qazigund. She was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag, where she succumbed to her injuries.
In another accident, a minibus JK03-2462 hit and injured a girl Sameena daughter Mohammed Yousaf Dyana Ashmuqam in district Anantnag.
The injured girl was shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment, the spokesman said.
A bus JK01D 7633 rolled down in a gorge on the bank of river Jehlum in Khanpora Baramulla. The driver of the bus was injured.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
