Govt failed to address public problems: Bhalla

JAMMU, July 31: Accusing the BJP led government for having failed to address problems of the people, JKPCC working president, Raman Bhalla on Monday expressed shock over unbearable hike in prices of food items including fruits, vegetables and other household things.
He demanded immediate control over food inflation which is breaking previous record on daily basis.
Bhalla was speaking at a joining function organized by Congress leader, Jagpreet Kour in Ramgarh, Samba.
During the function several prominent persons under the leadership of Raman Bhalla joined Congress and they included Apni Party leader, Raj Kumar Bhagat and his supporters.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Mannu Kumar, Gotam Kumar, Kallu, Kannu, Prince, Munish Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Samir, Bachan Lal, Sonu Sharma, Ruldhu Ram, Ashok Kumar, Jyoti Devi, Ruhi Devi, Heena Balgotra, Rajni Devi, Krishna Kumari, Bittu Ram, Puppi Ram, Desh Raj and others.
Bhalla welcomed the new entrants into Congress party and claimed that since BJP took over in 2014, the miseries of J&K people increased manifolds.
Attacking PM Modi led NDA government at the centre, he said that since the change of guard happened in New Delhi, prices of essential commodities have increased manifold.
Bhalla said that hike in prices of essentials commodities has pushed the people to wall.
“Congress has launched several protest campaigns to invite attention of the government towards the plight of people amid the rising prices of essential commodities,” he said.
