JAMMU, July 31: Senior Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) leader and Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sobat Ali Choudhary here today started tile work in Sainik Colony, Extension-D area.
Speaking on the occasion Ali said that other developmental works of the Ward shall also be completed soon.
He asked the people of the Ward to bring to his notice if they face any problem concerning development and sanitary conditions as the same shall be brought to the notice of concerned authorities for resolution.
The JMC Councillor asked the people of his Ward to stop throwing garbage here and there and properly utilise the services of door-to-door moving autos to collect household garbage.
He sought cooperation of the people in making the Ward a model one and asked them to avoid single use plastic and polythene bags so that hazards due to these on nature and human lives can be minimized.
Prominent locals of the area including Pardeep Jamwal, Govind Singh Bilowaria, Sachin Verma, Ashutosh Sharma, Varinder Manhas, Janak Choudhary and others were also present on the occasion.
