91% ABHA-based tokens generated at GMC Rajouri in one day

JAMMU, Aug 1: The Government Medical College (GMC) in Rajouri today recorded an impressive 91 percent of Outpatient Department (OPD) tokens generated in one single day through the ABHA-based Scan & Share Queue Management System.
Officials shared that a total of 1140 OPD cases were recorded for the day, out of which an impressive 1042 cases, accounting for 91 per cent, had their OPD tokens generated through the Scan & Share system.
“This significant uptake in utilizing the technology showcases the commitment of the medical institution, including others, to make patient care more effective and hassle-free in J&K,” they said.
The innovative Scan & Share Queue Management System has proven to be a game-changer, streamlining the patient flow and optimizing the healthcare service delivery at GMC Rajouri and several other hospitals across J&K.
Officials said that by enabling a smoother and faster registration process, patients experience reduced waiting times and improved access to medical services, noting that the technology-driven approach has not only improved operational efficiency but has also positively impacted patient satisfaction.
