RAJOURI, Aug 4: One person was killed and another injured when two bikes collided with each other on Jammu-Poonch National Highway in Nowshera area.
According to the reports, two motorcycles bearing registration number JK11E-8941 and JK02AU-4056 collided today on Jammu-Poonch National Highway in Nowshera, resulting into serious injuries to two persons namely Mohd Mahroof (19) son of Mohd Munshi of Kharie (Nowshera) and Kamljeet Singh son of Rakeet Singh of Changer (Nowshera).
As per BMO Nowshera Dr Iqbal Malik, both the injured were brought to SDH Nowshera for treatment from where they were referred to GMC Jammu after providing initial treatment. However, Mohd Mahroof died on the way to GMC Jammu.
SHO Nowshera Inspector Manpreet Singh said that a case vide FIR number 180 u/s 279/37 was registered by them investigation started.
