JAMMU, Aug 7: In a triumphant moment for RraSh Motion Pictures and the cast and crew of “JUGNU (a light of hope),” the young and talented actor Manas Sharma has clinched the esteemed Best Actor Award at the prestigious JK International Film Festival.
The festival, renowned for celebrating cinematic excellence, has recognized Manas Sharma’s outstanding portrayal of the character “Jugnu” in the thought-provoking short film.
Directed and produced by the visionary filmmaker Ravinder Sharma, “JUGNU (a light of hope)” has garnered widespread acclaim for its compelling narrative and compelling performances. Manas Sharma’s rendition of the complex and multi-dimensional character “Jugnu” captivated the audience and the festival jury alike, showcasing his remarkable acting prowess and dedication to his craft.

A Gojri Film Ye Rodiya with plight of Tribals was also awarded at the festival. The Award was conferred to Director of the Film Sachin Dhar for his excellent vision which was translated in most effective way on Silver Screen on the International Film Festival of J&K (IFFJK) at Katra. This is the third time this Gojri film has been awarded in India. The producer of the Film Sanjay K Raina was all praise for the entire team of Ye Rodiya especially Director Sachin Dhar who put his efforts to bring film up to this level. The producer announced to send this film in film festival to be hosted outside India.
Dhar appreciated the sincere efforts of his entire team and urged the organisers of Film Festivals to continue hosting such events to recognize and highlight the artistic work of film makers across the globe.
