MENDHAR, Aug 7: A Pakistani intruder was nabbed near the Line of Control in Mendhar area of Poonch district today.
Official sources said that one Abu Wahab Ali (22), resident of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), was taken into custody by the Army troops near Dabi-Basuni village in Balakote sector of Mendhar Sub Division after he crossed over to this side of the LoC.
No incriminating material was recovered from him during frisking. After questioning he was handed over to local police by the Army authorities. He appears to have inadvertently crossed over to this side, the police said
