JAMMU, Aug 8: Neelam Nargotra, councilor, JMC Ward No. 40 in the presence of Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, media in charge, J&K BJP and Keshav Chopra, Talab Tillo Mandal president, kick started laying of paver tiles at Bharat Nagar today.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra while speaking on the occasion said the local councilor is totally dedicated to her job to address the genuine demands of the people of her Ward. He said that the BJP believes in the politics of development rather than profiteering.
He said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has set a benchmark with his hard work and every BJP worker is continuously serving the society 365 days a year following his directions.
“BJP follows strong principles like integral humanism and Antodaya, believes in all-round development of an individual, society, and the nation; and as such framed the core policies to benefit earlier neglected and downtrodden segments with the blend of basic amenities and advanced development”, said Dr. Pardeep.
Neelam Nargotra said that with the laying of paver tiles, the long-standing demand of residents has been fulfilled. She said that this would also solve the sanitation problem of the lane with the smooth flow of filthy water in the drains.
Neelam, while giving details of the present works said that this paver tile work in the lane along with other works would be completed with the estimated cost of 40 lakh rupees with the funds allocated in (City Grant), councilor funds. She added that many lane and drain works are being executed at this time and the remaining areas will also be covered soon with the needed construction and repair works.
Keshav Chopra reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the development. He said with the ongoing development works, Talab Tillo will soon develop into a mesmerizing place.
