Srinagar, Aug 9: A man accused of attempting to murder his son has been arrested in Sonawar area of Srinagar city today.
The accused identified as Mehmood Ahmad Wani, son of Nazir Ahmad Wani, a resident of Sonawar Srinagar stabbed his son after a heated argument with him.
The victim was evacuated to a nearby hospital, where his overall condition is said to stable.
“We have registered an FIR under 121/2023 under section 307 of IPC against the accused”, an official said adding the weapon of offence has also been recovered at the site.
