RAJOURI, Aug 9: The police seized hundreds of banned tablets from a Karyana shop and a house in Badhal area of district Rajouri.
Official sources said that on a specific information a team of police headed by SHO Kandi Shakil Manhas, along with Executive Magistrate raided a shop at Badhal town. The raid was conducted on the suspicion that one person namely- Abdul Majeed, son of Mohd Hussain, resident of Badhal town and his son, Ajaz Ahmed sell banned drugs/ tablets at their Karyana shop at Badhal.
During raid, team recovered 260 banned drugs/ Clonazepam tablets (Alrest 0.5) from Kiryana shop and 176 banned Clonazepam (alrest 0.5) tablets from their home. On this, a case FIR No 82/2023 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Kandi and further investigation has been initiated.
