SRINAGAR, Aug 9: Apni Party president Altaf Bukhari today said that his party’s primary objective is to promote sustainable peace, prosperity and development in Jammu and Kashmir while empowering its people both economically and politically.
He made these comments while addressing the gathering on the occasion of welcoming a group of political workers from Uri. The new entrants include Javid Ahmad Bhat and Waseem Akram from the National Conference (NC), Ghulam Rasool Naiko, who was a block president of the Peoples Conference (PC), and Abdul Qayoom Khan. They formally joined the party during an event organised at the party headquarters in Srinagar today.
Welcoming the newcomers, Bukhari said, “I wholeheartedly welcome you to Apni Party, and I hope your presence will further strengthen the party cadre in the Uri constituency.”
He further said, “Our main objective is to promote peace, prosperity, and development in Jammu and Kashmir while empowering its people both economically and politically. By working together, we can accelerate our mission of elevating this region to new heights of prosperity.”
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir, Muntazir Mohiuddin, Syed Farooq Andrabi, Manjit Singh, Choudhary Mushtaq, Syed Mehmood Bukhari, Bilal Ahmad Bhat, Mohammad Rafiq Balot, Mohd Saleem Bhat, Youth president Uri Javaid Ahmad, Ashfaq Lone and Peer Mohi-ud-Din.
