SIT formed to investigate alleged corruption in BRO projects

LEH, Aug 9: The Ladakh Administration today accorded sanction to the constitution of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate into the allegation of corruption in engagement of labours leveled against 54RCC, 81 RCC, 104 RCC and 114 RCC of BRO projects in the Union Territory.
“The SIT comprising Sub-Divisional Magistrate Khaltsi, Assistant Labour Commissioner Leh and Superintending Engineer PW(R&B) Circle Leh shall enquire into the matter of allegation of corruption as mentioned in the representation of one Lawang Stanzin resident of Hanu (Aryan Valley) and submit its report not later than 25-08-2023,” read an order issued today by General Administration Department, Ladakh.
