JAMMU, Aug 10: In connection with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Directorate of Ayush led by Director Dr Mohan Singh and District Ayush Officer, Dr Vandna Dogra under its Health and Well programme organized a public lecture on home remedies in Scientia International School today.
The lecture was delivered by Dr Sakshi Sharma and Dr Sukhpreet Kaur medical officers to the students from class 7th to Class 10th.
Principal of the School, Mrs Bharti and coordinator, Meenu Wali in their address said that people in modern times have to be more health conscious and organizing such lectures from school level will prove very beneficial in future life of these students.
They said Directorate of Ayush is making an awareness campaign among the people by organising such programmes from time to time.
