UDHAMPUR, Aug 10: District Police Udhampur has booked and detained a notorious criminal under the J&K Public Safety Act (PSA) for his criminal activities.
The accused namely Rakesh Kumar, alias Raku, son of Laxman Dass, resident of Meer Mohra Sarothi, Tehsil Panchari, District Udhampur, was booked for his criminal activities in the area for which a number of cases had been registered against him in the Police Station Udhampur.
The accused is a notorious criminals and was continuously involved in a number of criminal activities like theft, snatching etc.
On the directions of SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar, his dossiers for PSA was prepared and sent for necessary detention orders by DC Udhampur.
