JAMMU, Aug 12: Many people joined Democratic Progressive Azad Party at the party office ice , Malik Market, Narwal in Jammu in presence of former minister and Zonal president of Jammu Central Zone, Ch Gharu Ram here today.
Those who joined the party showed solidarity and full faith in the leadership of former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Speaking on the occasion Ch Gharu Ram said that our party will strive hard for restoration of full Statehood and bring comprehensive employment policy for the unemployed youths of the erstwhile state if voted to power.
He further added that toads, hospitals, flyovers, Degree colleges, Medical colleges were built and many Districts, Sub Districts and Tehsils were created when Azad was the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
While speaking on the joining occasion, Ashok Khajuria Zonal vice president said that Azad’s period as CM is still considered as best period in respect of infrastructure development in Jammu and Kashmir. He is the only leader who can lead the state in a progressive and positive direction.
Those who joined the party included- G L Chanda, Suraj Parkash, Solana Ram, Jeet Raj, Amit Chargotra, Viraj Singh, Gopal Dass, Ravi Kumar, Kulbhushan Chander and Parkash Dingra.
