Yuva Rajput Sabha to soon launch ‘Save Dogra Save Identity’ movement

JAMMU, Aug 13: Encouraged over declaration of public holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) has announced to soon launch `Save Dogra, Save Identity’ movement.
In this connection, a team of YRS members, led by Vikram Singh Vicky, President YRS had essential conversation talk with the last General of Maharaja Hari Singh’s State Forces and former Military Secretary to Govt of India, Major General Goverdhan Singh Jamwal at his residence near Green Belt Gandhi Nagar Jammu. In this important meeting, main issues discussed were related to the Dogra Dynasty, State and the present scenario of J&K.
While in this conversation, Vikram discussed about Dogra heritage, Statehood and Dogra Certificate matter with Major General Jamwal, who maintained that the Statehood was very important for the betterment of Jammu Division. He stressed that Dogra Heritage must be preserved and Dogra Certificate needs to be issued to the youth of Jammu.
YRS Spokesperson and Media Coordinator Vishal Singh discussed about the statements of the Central Govt on Statehood, Dogra Certificate and about the job policies for the youth of Jammu Dogras. Major General Goverdhan Singh Jamwal said that the Central Govt has to act upon its statements and implement them at ground level as soon as possible for the betterment of J&K.
YRS members Bhanu Pratap (General Secretary), Bhupinder Singh (State Secretary) and PA to Major General Jamwal, Rakesh Singh were present in the meeting.
