JAMMU, Aug 13: All J&K Plus-2 Lecturers Forum held a monthly meeting on virtual mode in which both provincial units of the forum participated. The meet was chaired by Chairman of the Forum, RS Salathia who expressed satisfaction over the way the forum is working for the overall upliftment of the standard of education in the school Education Department under the leadership of Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Jammu and Kashmir.
The meet was moderated by Ghar Singh Saini, General Secretary Jammu Province. The meeting unanimously resolved to implement the New Education Policy in an effective manner so that the dream of providing job- oriented, skill- oriented, research-oriented and education enriched with fostering moral values among our youths comes true.
Both the Provincial Presidents Pardeep Singh Rakwal and Shakeel Ahmed Butt focused on regularisation of in-charge lecturers in one go in all disciplines including those who acquired Post Graduate Degrees through distance mode in science stream to put a full stop to the issue once for all in the interest of justice.
