KATRA, Aug 13: NC Provincial president Jammu, Rattan Lal Gupta has claimed that BJP has crumbled in Kashmir like playing cards while it has already lost political space in Jammu province.
Addressing a meeting of NC functionaries at Katra, Gupta said that BJP has lost its political ground and relevance across J&K due to its anti-people policies.
The meeting was chaired by NC District Reasi president, Jagjeevan Lal and was held in continuation of series of district meetings of NC across Jammu region in view of upcoming elections in J&K.
“Power hungry BJP leaders are day dreaming about regaining power in J&K and BJP has miserably failed to resolve the issues of Jammu region which is evident from the ruckus over installation of smart meters, closure of vital National Highway in Kathua, non availability of basic amenities besides lot of other issues like Property Tax etc,” he maintained.
Tariq Butt, District secretary Reasi; Ashok Mehta, Raj Kumar Sharma and Gandarb Singh, Block presidents and Sher Singh, senior NC leader also spoke on the occasion.
