GCW Gandhinagar organises job placement drive

JAMMU, Aug 14: Alumni Association of GCW Gandhinagar, in collaboration with Career Counselling and Placement Cell, organised job placement drive in which ifbi NIIT conducted screening for PRO in ICICI Bank.
A total of 143 students including alumni were part of the screening test and the shortlisted candidates will appear in the 2nd phase of the drive. The selected students shall be further interviewed by the team for training and placement.
Prof Minu Mahajan, Principal of the college, congratulated the Career Counselling Cell and Alumni Association for being prompt in organising such activities for the welfare of the students. She also encouraged the students to be part of such career oriented activities to get a fair chance of settling their future in their dream.
Prof Rajni Kumari, Convener Career Counseling and Placement Cell of the college, formally welcomed the guests and thanked Shakun Sharma and her team from NIIT for conducting the campus placement drive especially for the outgoing students and alumni of the college.
Advocate Radha Sharma Jasrotia, president of the Association interacted with the students and apprised them about the importance of such career opportunities.
Dr Davinder Kour, the Vice president of Alumni Association also motivated the students to step forward and start their journey where the opportunities are knocking at their doorstep.
The vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Suman Bala and the proceedings of the event were conducted by Neelam Thapa. The whole program was conducted in the supervision of Prof Rajni Kumari, Convener, Career Counseling and Placement Cell. Prof Renu Rajput, Prof Malti, Prof. Rajinder Kumar and Madhvi Sharma coordinated the drive.
