SAMBA, Aug 14: Under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba, Benam Tosh, police has arrested seven miscreants involved in attempt to murder case of Vijaypur in which two persons had sustained grievous injuries with sharp-edged weapons.
The arrested persons have been identified as Shiva Kumar, son of Suraj Kumar of Kun Railway Road Katra, district Reasi, Sahil Mir, son of Anwer Mir of Railway Road Katra, district Reasi, Ravi, son of Suraj Kumar of Katra Reasi A/P Shivnagar Vijaypur, Samba, Manik Sharma son of Ashok Kumar of Majitha Amritsar Punjab, Sikander Kumar, son of Ram Langa of Masooda Mandi, Jalandhar, Punjab, Sanju, son of Vishal Kumar of Ladgar Amritsar Punjab and Jatin Singh son of Suraj Kumar of Bopali district Panipat Haryana.
An attempt to murder case FIR No. 107/2023, U/s 307,341,323,147,504,506 IPC, 4/25 Arms Act stands registered at Police Station, Vijaypur and investigation is underway. After arresting seven accused, police has also recovered sharp-edged weapons of offence from their possession which were used by the miscreants in the murderous attack.
The miscreants have been arrested by police team headed by SHO Police Station Vijaypur, Tribhawan Khajuria under the supervision of SDPO, Vijaypur, Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba, Surinder Choudhary.
