JAMMU, Aug 16: A delegation of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) led by Lalit Mahajan along with Tarun Singla, Senior Vice President met with Vasu Yadav, Chairman, J&K Pollution Control Committee in the presence of K. Ramesh Kumar, Member Secretary, J&K Pollution Control Committee and highlighted the various issues related to the Industrial Sector of J&K for early resolution.
Mahajan welcomed Vasu Yadav as Chairman in J&K Pollution Control Committee and appreciated the working of the Pollution Control Committee under his Chairmanship resulting in time bound clearance of consent of the Industrial Units under the Ease of Doing Business Concept.
Mahajan draw attention of the Chairman in respect of Environment Forest and Climate Change Notification No- S.O. 3250(E) dated 20-07-2023 buy the virtue of which Steel Re-Rolling Mills with Capacity Greater than 5000 MT per annum have been bought under its preview to obtain Environment Clearance due to which the unit holders are facing problem to get CTO, resulting problem is being faced by the units holders for getting various Incentives.
Vasu Yadav, Chairman, J&K Pollution Control Committee assured the delegation to resolve the issues related to the Industrial Sector on priority basis.
