Srinagar, Aug 20: Security forces have launched a search operation in Pulwama villages this evening after a brief exchange of fire between militants and troops.
A joint team of police and security forces had laid ambush in the orchards of Larrow-Parigam in Pulwama district this evening.
A gun fight broke out as they spotted two militants.
After brief exchange of fire security forces are conducting searches in the area.
